I. Exploratory Questions: May I ask you a few spiritual questions?
- Do you have any spiritual belief?
- To you, who is Jesus?
- Do you believe there is a heaven and a hell?
- If you were to die right now, where would you go? If heaven, why?
- If what you believe is not true, would you want to know it?
- If the answer is yes, open the Bible and proceed to share the plan of salvation. If no, thank them for their time and tell them you will be praying for them.
II. Presentation of the Plan of Salvation (Must include Sin, Savior, Substitution, and Surrender)
Bad News # 1– Sin separates man from God.
- Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12
- John 3:3
Bad News # 2– The penalty of sin is eternal death
- Romans 6:23a
Good News # 1– Christ died in our place.
- Romans 6:23b; Romans 5:8
- John 14:6
Good News # 2– You can have your sins forgiven, receive the gift of eternal life, and be saved through faith in Jesus Christ.
- Rom. 10:9-11
- Eph. 2:8-9 -We receive this gift by faith.
III. Closing Questions:
- Are you a sinner?
- Do you want forgiveness of sins?
- Do you believe that Jesus is God’s Son who died for our sins and rose on the third day?
- Are you willing to surrender your life to Christ and follow Him?
- Would you like to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior?
IV. Lead them in a prayer to ask Jesus to save them.
