But God – Part 2

Speaker: Pastor Ken Burgess
Series: The Wealth and Walk of the Christian #6
Title: “But God – Part 2”
Scripture: Ephesians 2:4-7
Date: 8-6-17 Sun. PM

Description: In the previous message in this series, Pastor Ken talked about that in our past condition we were without Christ, without God, and without hope. We were sinners by nature, by choice, and by practice. We were dead, deluded, disobedient, defiled, and doomed! We were spiritually dead on our way to hell.

Thanks be to God for the “But God” in verse 4! God did not leave us where we were! God took the initiative in our salvation. We can experience salvation because of his love, by his holiness and justice. He did all this when we should have remained dead. Without Christ we are spiritually dead; but God intervened, imparting grace and faith. Once we are saved, God works in and through us.
